How Our Groups Work

Facilitated by a Speech Pathologist: Every group is led by a qualified speech pathologist who tailors the activities to meet the needs of the group.

  • Small Groups: Groups typically consist of 3-5 children, allowing for personalized attention within a supportive peer setting.

  • Pre-Program Evaluation: Before starting, each child participates in a 1:1 evaluation to determine their current ability level. This helps us group participants effectively and ensures your child is placed in the right group for their needs.

  • Weekly Sessions: Groups usually meet once a week for a set period (e.g., 4-6 weeks), with each session focusing on different communication goals such as decoding, storytelling, or social communication skills.

  • Yes! Even though the sessions are in a group format, each child’s individual needs are taken into account, and our speech pathologists ensure personalized attention within the group dynamic.

  • Spaces are limited to ensure quality care. If a group reaches capacity, we will notify you and offer placement in the next available group or provide alternative options.

  • Our holiday intensive programs typically run for 4-6 weeks, with sessions lasting 60-90 minutes, depending on the specific program.

    • The cost for each group program varies based on the length, number of sessions, and materials provided. You will receive an itemized breakdown on each specific group’s page.

    • Pre-payment is required to secure your child’s spot in the group. This covers all sessions, materials, and planning time.

    • Missed Sessions: If your child misses a session, the payment is non-refundable due to the nature of group scheduling.
