Babble Bees Speech Therapy is an up-and-coming neurodiversity-affirming Allied health practice located in Footscray, Melbourne. Our clinic provides comprehensive speech and language services for children aged 3 to school-aged. We are a growing team in a new practice with brand new facilities and equipment.

Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychologist to join the Babble Bees team. In this dynamic role, you will take the lead in developing standardised Psychology services that support children in achieving their functional and developmental goals.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will conduct assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, and engage with children and their families to foster independence and well-being. You’ll have the advantage of working in a well-equipped clinic with the support of dedicated reception and administrative staff, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments to determine participant needs and functional capacity.
Lead the development of tailored Psychology services that align with children's individual goals.
Provide evidence-based early childhood interventions predominantly in the clinic, and schools as needed.
Engage with clients, families, and support networks to understand their goals and facilitate progress.
Work collaboratively with internal and external multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in peer consultations to enhance client outcomes and share insights across disciplines.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes and documentation in accordance with medico-legal requirements.
Compile comprehensive NDIS reports
Report to the Principal Practitioner and also assist with developing, improving and implementing clinical operating procedures, policies and processes.
Preqrequisites:
Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy
AHPRA Registration
Professional and public indemnity insurance
An ABN or be eligible to get one
Eligible to provide services under Medicare
Working with Children's Check
Driver's License
Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff members using adult learning principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
